Our origins date back to 1985 when Auto&General was launched in South Africa.

Working At TIH

TIH appointed as the official preferred insurer for Uber in SA

We’re proud to announce that after years of negotiations, TIH, through our client-facing brands; Auto&General Insurance, Budget Insurance South Africa,1st for Women and Dialdirect Insurance has been appointed as the official preferred insurer for Uber in South Africa. TIH will offer e hailing insurance cover designed specifically with drivers and their vehicles in mind.

This partnership was recently celebrated with an official launch hosted by our Business Insurance sales team at Uber’s offices, marking the beginning of an exciting collaboration. We look forward to seeing the positive impact this partnership will have as we continue to innovate and support the industry.
