Steven Klinkert

Chairman of TIH (Telesure Investment Holdings Pty Ltd) and Non-Executive Director of several international companies. Chairman of Auto & General Holdings Pty Ltd in Australia and Deputy Chairman of BHL Limited in Guernsey. Stephen has over 40 years’ experience in the insurance industry in South Africa, the UK and Australia.

Murray Raisbeck

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of BHL Holdings, the parent company of a number of predominantly insurance related businesses. Murray has over 20 years’ experience in financial services.

Khaya Gobodo

Khaya was appointed CEO-Designate of TIH in April 2025 and officially assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer of TIH on 1 December 2025. Prior to this, Khaya held the role as Managing Director of Old Mutual Investments, responsible for the Group's single manager investment capabilities. He also served as Chairman of Old Mutual Investment Group, Old Mutual Alternative Investments, Old Mutual Specialised Finance, Old Mutual Wealth and Futuregrowth Asset Management. Khaya is a CFA charter holder and completed an MSc in Investment Management with distinction.

Alex Terblanché

Alex Terblanché is the CEO of Short-Term Insurance at TIH. He is a qualified actuary and has been with TIH for 14 years, starting his career with the Group in 2011 as an Actuarial Analyst. Alex holds an MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, where he was involved in various extra-mural activities, including athletics for which he earned a Blues Award. He is also a Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA) and a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (FASSA).

Pulane Kingston

CEO of Meredan Pty Ltd and Non-Executive Chairperson of Sphere Holdings Pty Ltd, which she co-founded in 2003. Pulane previously served as a Partner at Webber Wentzel and a Managing Principal at ABSA Capital.

Taurai Muranda

Chartered Accountant and experienced investment professional. Taurai started her private equity career with Ethos Private Equity before joining Women Investment Portfolio (Wiphold) to establish and run their private equity division. In 2003, Taurai co-founded Mahogany.

Horton Griffiths

Chartered Accountant and former Director of forensic accounting services, fraud investigations and litigation support at PwC from 1973 to 2012. Horton worked at PwC from January 1973 to January 2012. Since then, he has worked as a Consultant offering forensic services and accounting litigation support.

Tebogo Maenetja

A seasoned Human Resources leader, with extensive experience in the Human Resources Management field, a significant part of which has been in Senior/Executive HR leadership roles within various industries. She currently serves as the Executive Director of Human Resources at MTN. She holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Social Work from the University of Witwatersrand, and a certificate in Executive Development from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS).

Derek Pead

Consultant to entrepreneurs and executives in negotiation and dispute resolution. Derek has an actuarial and insurance career spanning over 40 years and has held several senior Executive positions and Non-Executive Directorships.

Professor Eltie Links

Economist and Professor extraordinaire with a PhD from the State University of New York. Lecturer in Economics, including International Business and Doing Business in Africa, at the University of Stellenbosch. Previously, Professor Links was appointed by President Nelson Mandela to serve as Ambassador to Belgium and Luxembourg, as well as Principle Resident Representative to the IMF and the World Bank.

Adriana Weilbach

TIH’s Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining TIH, Adriana worked at Credit Suisse where she held the position of COO of the then newly established stand-alone South African operation conducting stockbroking, private banking and investment banking. Adriana is a registered CA(SA) and holds a B.Com Law and LLB degree from the University of Stellenbosch, as well as a B.Compt honours degree from UNISA.

Kevin Wright

During a banking, healthcare administration and short-term insurance career spanning 30 years, Kevin has held several executive positions covering the Operational and Information technology areas of business. These including being Executive Head of Business Information and Technology Services at Santam Group Ltd, Chief Operating Officer and CIO of Mutual and Federal Ltd and Operations Director and CIO of Medscheme Ltd, together with several board positions held within the above mentioned companies.
