In the lead-up to Youth Month, we welcomed learners from the LEAP Maths and Science School for a Career Day, as part of our growing tradition that remains one of the highlights on our annual calendar. It’s always a privilege to contribute to shaping future talent and opening young minds to what’s possible. The day included a panel discussion with TIH’ers from various disciplines, who shared their career journeys, professional experiences and practical advice. The learners were engaged, asking questions about different career paths and what to expect in the working world.
We were also pleased to have the University of Johannesburg in attendance. Their information stations gave learners valuable exposure to tertiary education options, helping them connect their school subjects to future studies and careers. Initiatives like these reinforce our commitment to building a prosperous South Africa by investing in young people and empowering them with knowledge, exposure and confidence for the future.
