Our origins date back to 1985 when Auto&General was launched in South Africa.

TIH was established in 1998. Today, we are proud to own and operate some of South Africa’s most loved and recognised insurers brands.

Working At TIH

Mandela Day

We recently commemorated Mandela Day by putting our purpose into action. TIH’ers showed up and played their part, dedicating their 67 minutes to making a difference.

Through our partnership with the Food Security Program, we support food security initiatives that help strengthen communities. At LIV Village, our teams contributed to activities focused on early childhood development and creating positive experiences for children. Our commitment to building a more prosperous South Africa for all extends beyond Mandela Day, creating lasting impact throughout the year.
