Stephen Klinkert
Stephen is the Chairman of Telesure Investment Holdings Proprietary Ltd and non-executive director of several international Budget Group companies including BGL (Holdings) Limited. He’s Chairman of Auto and General Holdings Pty Ltd (Australia) and Deputy Chairman of BHL Limited (Guernsey).
Stephen has over 40 years’ experience in the insurance industry across South Africa, the United Kingdom and Australia. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics.

Murray Raisbeck
Murray is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of BHL Holdings. BHL Holdings is the parent company of a number of predominantly insurance related businesses. Through regional subsidiaries and associated ventures, the BHL Group operates three principal regionals – the UK, South Africa and Australia with businesses also in France, Turkey and new ventures in South East Asia. Murray joined the BHL Group in May 2022 as CFO when he assumed his current role.
Murray was previously a partner with KPMG having worked in the UK and South Africa. Through working with a global insurance client base, Murray has over 20 years' experience in financial services. An auditor by background Murray joined KPMG in 1999 and became a partner in 2011. Murray's role included him leading KPMG's global FinTech team; a digital team in the UK; as well as leading key financial sector accounts.

Pulane Kingston
Pulane is the CEO of Meredan (Pty) Limited. She previously served as a Partner at Webber Wentzel and a managing principal at Absa Capital. Pulane also co-founded Sphere Holdings Pty Ltd in 2003 and now serves on the board as the Non-Executive Chairperson. Pulane obtained her LLM in International Law from University of Nottingham in 1993, and read for her LLB at University of Wales, College of Aberystwyth in 1992, and was awarded an International Baccalaureate Diploma from International School of Moshi, Tanzania in 1988.

Tom Creamer
Tom is the CEO of TIH. He joined TIH in 1988. He is a seasoned executive leader with extensive experience in all facets of the insurance world including marketing, sales, product development, customer experience, rating, pricing and underwriting. He is recognised as an innovator who helped revolutionise and disrupt the South African insurance landscape by conceptualising, launching and building several of South Africa’s leading insurance brands.

Taurai Muranda
Taurai is a Chartered Accountant who qualified with Deloitte Durban. She is an experienced investment professional who started her private equity career with Ethos Private Equity as an investment specialist, before joining Women Investment Portfolio Holdings Ltd (“Wiphold”) to set up and run their private equity division. She left Wiphold to co-found Mahogany in 2003. In her personal capacity, Taurai has insurance expertise through her various board directorships, both past and present. She currently sits on the boards of Hannover Re Group Africa and previously served on the Assupol board.

Horton Griffiths
Horton is a chartered accountant and former director of forensic accounting services, fraud investigations and litigation support at PwC. He worked at PwC from January 1973 to January 2012. Since then, he has worked as a consultant offering forensic services and accounting litigation support.

Tebogo Maenetja
Tebogo is a seasoned Human Resources leader, with extensive hands-on generalist experience in the Human Resources Management field, a significant part of which has been in senior/executive HR leadership roles within various industries. She currently serves as the Executive Director of Human Resources for MTN. She holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Social Work from the University of Witwatersrand, and a certificate in Executive Development from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS).

Derek Pead
During an actuarial and insurance career spanning more than 40 years, Derek has held several senior executive and non-executive directorships, including Metropolitan Holdings, joint managing director of Metropolitan Life and several other board positions within the Metropolitan group and beyond. Today, Derek consults to entrepreneurs and corporate executives in negotiation matters and dispute resolution.

Professor Eltie Links
Eltie is an economist and Professor extraordinaire. He holds a PHD from the State University of New York, a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree. He lectures Economics including International Business and Doing Business in Africa, at the University of Stellenbosch Business School. He has been a distinguished senior diplomat, having been appointed by President Nelson Mandela to serve as South Africa’s Ambassador to the European Union (EU) in Brussels. He has also served as Ambassador to Belgium and Luxembourg as well as Principle Resident Representative to the IMF and the World Bank, Washington DC.

Adriana Weilbach
Adriana was appointed Chief Financial Officer for TIH in June 2017. Prior to joining the Group in an executive capacity, she served as a non-executive director on the 1st for Women Insurance Board since 2012. Previously, Adriana worked at Credit Suisse where she held the position of Chief Operating Officer of the then newly established stand-alone South African operation conducting stockbroking, private banking and investment banking. Her extensive insurance knowledge emanates from having headed up the Risk Finance Consulting and Captive Management division at Marsh in South Africa. In addition, she fulfilled a variety of roles at Santam Ltd, including heading up the Risk & Compliance division, managing international acquisitions and corporate finance activities, and was managing director of Santam’s Risk Finance insurance company. Adriana is a registered Chartered Accountant and holds BCom Law and LLB degrees from the University of Stellenbosch, as well as BCompt Hons degree (UNISA).

Kevin Wright
During a banking, healthcare administration and short-term insurance career spanning 30 years, Kevin has held several executive positions covering the Operational and Information technology areas of business. These include being Executive Head of Business Information and Technology Services at Santam Group Ltd, Chief Operating Officer and CIO of Mutual and Federal Ltd and Operations Director and CIO of Medscheme Ltd, together with several board positions held within the above-mentioned companies.
Kevin consults to companies today on Information Technology transformation, digital adoption and legacy modernisation programmes. He obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Port Elizabeth, a Diploma from the Institute of Bankers in Southern Africa [C.A.I.B] and a Fellow of the South African Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. Additionally, Kevin pursued executive education, completing a course in Leadership of Professional Service Firms at Harvard University Graduate School of Business and a Fintech program at Saïd Business School at Oxford University.
